Week 6: The European Moment
Theme: Ripples of Revolution
At one point in time, one revolution sparked another, creating a ripple of revolutions. Around very close points in time there were four revolutions that sparked up. Those four included; the north american revolution, the french revolution, the haitian revolution, as well as the spanish american revolutions. Even till this day there are multiple revolutions going on around the world at the same times, such as the Arab of spring, and the one in Thailand, etc.
The revolution in Thailand has been going on and off for about seven years now, with no sign of ending for good anytime soon. The yellow shirt protestors have hope of putting and end to this by at least the end of this month. The main goal right now is to take out the current prime minister, who is seen as a puppet for her older brother and ex prime minister who caused this whole commotion with his deceitfulness and corruption, and to reform the government altogether. Even though the protestors are trying their best, the economy is starting to stagnate. However, they are not giving up and are still energised, even with all the violence the government has commanded upon them. The main goal that is keeping them going is to protect the throne of the king.
